Even during a pandemic, I will still go to Trader Joe’s for fun. Yes, I am wearing a mask, and yes I stand in line for 20 minutes, and yes I try to do my shopping as quickly and efficiently as possible — but Trader Joe’s will always be my happy place, and nobody can take that away from me. There is something inexplicably soothing about picking out which Trader Joe’s hot sauce I want to try out, or feeling a rush of endorphins as I spot their new item section in the back while their indie-rock playlist blasts songs they probably procured from the 500 Days of Summer soundtrack.
But as much as I love the Trader Joe’s experience, sometimes I just need one or two things, and that’s when I desperately wished they did delivery. And if you love Trader Joe’s but sadly don’t live near one, it might take you hours just to drive to a location. Luckily, Amazon does sell Trader Joe’s products, and you can usually get them sent to you in a few days. It’s no Prime delivery, but it’ll do. Here are some of the best TJ’s snacks and other goods you can snag on Amazon right now.
Oh, Trader Joe’s. Always thinking outside the box and truly gauging what the people REALLY want. The Everything but the Bagel seasoning is perfect for your avocado toast, makes a mean rub for your baked chicken, and can also be added to salads, if that’s your business. This is a two-pack, so you’ll be set for awhile.
From September 1 up until January 1 you can find me crunching on ginger snap cookies of all forms, including Trader Joe’s Cookie Thins, which I just love for their crunchy consistency (yes, Amazon also sells their OG ginger snap cookies, which are by far the snappiest you’ll find just about anywhere). This is also a two-pack.
Another product of the ginger variety, cookie butter isn’t quite gingerbread, but it’s not quite sugar cookie either. It’s cookie butter! Use it on toast, as an ice cream topic, or f*ck it, all by itself.
Ohhhhh yeahhhhhh, Trader Joe’s Harvest Blend herbal tea is back, bitches. It’s like fall in a mug. This is a three-pack, so it’ll last ya through the season.
I remember getting Dunkers (and the Cat Cookies, obvs) when I was little and used to go grocery shopping with my mom. They’re a classic — and as their name suggests, perfect for dunking in milk or coffee.
If you have a go-to pumpkin bread recipe you bust out every year, amazing. But if you’re lazy like me and prefer the boxed variety, this pumpkin bread mix is the creme de la creme of baked goods mixes. It comes out perfectly and tastes like you baked it from scratch.
Just scoop this into your milk of choice (mine’s oat, in case you were wondering), microwave (I like to use the stove which makes me feel very old-school and like I’m NOT using a powder mix to make myself a tasty beverage), and boom. You have yourself a chai latte in the comfort of your home. This is a big tub that’ll last you for months.
I actually *just* tried this out, as it was one of the products I purchased over the weekend. I love that it’s eco-friendly, it smells like a candy cane, and it left my hair clean and soft. The hubs also likes it too because it’s not “fussy.” Whatever that means.
Another beauty purchase from TJ’s this weekend, I started using this a couple days ago, and am completely in love with it. It’s gentle, actually washes my makeup/tears off, and hasn’t produced a single breakout yet. TJ’s for the win! BTW: It’s unscented and dermatologist-formulated, so if you’re wondering, “Is this shit legit? Should I really be buying my FACIAL CLEANSER from a grocery store?” I mean, I think yes. Ultimately it’s up to you.
These quintessential Candy Cane Green Tea boxes are more expensive than you’d get at the store (frankly, all of the TJ’s products on Amazon are, sorry), but that’s probably because this hasn’t even been unleashed onto shelves yet! If you need to feel like the holiday season is already here, treat yourself to some Candy Cane Green Tea.
If you love Nutella, you’ll love these sandwich cookies. They’re somehow light and rich at the same time — meaning, I can eat seven in a row without even realizing it. Sorcery!
I usually stock up on my coffee and K-cups because it takes a loooong time for coffee to go bad (does it go bad? Will google later and report back). TJ’s coffee hits the spot every single time, so I always have at least one box of K-cups handy.
Back when I was commuting to work when the world wasn’t falling to pieces, I’d grab one of these breakfast granola packs, and they were truly a life saver. They’re also incredibly delicious with a cup of coffee.
This pumpkin chocolate chunk oatmeal mix is truly one of the best things Trader Joe’s could give us this fall. Especially if you’re an oatmeal (no raising) cookie lover like me, you’ll appreciate the chocolate swap and pumpkin spice notes.
Nobody makes better pumpkin butter than Trader Joe’s. Get a jar of this blessed spreading, and slather it on everything you’ve got in the kitchen.
Another easy and sweet breakfast, these gluten-free PB&J bars have saved rushed breakfasts and lunches. Also, kids love them.
I’m going to say something polarizing: TJ’s pumpkin spice coffee is better than a PSL. Or any other pumpkin spice coffee (and that include Dunkin’, and I love me some Dunkin’). It’s definitely pricey buying a 2-pack from Amazon, and you’ve *really* gotta be committed. But if you’re a die-hard pumpkin coffee fan, you’ve really got nothing to lose.
I used to beg my Israeli relatives to bring back two things: Ahava lotion, and Bambas. If you’ve never had Bambas before (fun fact: they’re Gal Gadot’s favorite snack!), they’re like Cheetos but peanut-butter and not very sugar-y. They’re crunchy and delicious and you can eat an entire bag in under five minutes, probably. At least, I can.
